Who We Are

Kesewaa Royal Academy started as

Royal International School in May, 2015 by two co founders: Jessica Kesewaa Abiri and Mrs. Elizabeth Oppong. It initially started with 5 students as the aim was to reduce illiteracy levels in the community of Kenyase, Brong Ahafo. Overtime, this number increased massively, and we had to relocated to our new location called “New Settlement” still in Kenyase. This is adjacent the New community centre built for the community “Osei Kofi Community Centre”.

In October 2015, the name was changed to Kesewaa Royal academy after one of the co-founders of the school. As a daughter of the community the name resonated well with the community as the name Kesewaa signifies “Greatness” and with the growth in the school and the vision of innovation this name fit perfectly.
