Who We Are
Kesewaa Royal Academy started as
Royal International School in May, 2015 by two co founders: Jessica Kesewaa Abiri and Mrs. Elizabeth Oppong. It initially started with 5 students as the aim was to reduce illiteracy levels in the community of Kenyase, Brong Ahafo. Overtime, this number increased massively, and we had to relocated to our new location called “New Settlement” still in Kenyase. This is adjacent the New community centre built for the community “Osei Kofi Community Centre”.
In October 2015, the name was changed to Kesewaa Royal academy after one of the co-founders of the school. As a daughter of the community the name resonated well with the community as the name Kesewaa signifies “Greatness” and with the growth in the school and the vision of innovation this name fit perfectly.

The goal is to build a solid foundation for our students which would empower them to be embrace their uniqueness and skills to be whatever they seek to be. Our main vision is to provide affordable and quality education for our future leaders

At Kesewaa Royal Academy, we aim to create a safe community where students are developed, encouraged and nurtured to be the best “versions” of themselves. As such, an important part of our school motto is “Knowledge, Leadership and Excellence”.
The mission is to provide high quality education in a conducive environment where everyone is respected ,and an inclusive environment for all children to achieve their potential. We also strive to provide education for the child in an innovative changing world with effective teaching and learning.

Founders
Jessica Kesewaa Abiri is a Financial Data Analyst as a well as an entrepreneur who started the school while in university.
With a mission to improve lives she sought to provide quality and affordable education. Her main focus was to improve lives especially in the rural communities. She started with her community Kenyase No.1 In the Brong Ahafo Region.
She is the co-founder of Kesewaa Royal Academy- currently one of the best private schools in the region- with seeks to nurture and help children develop life-long skills to become reputable and successful leaders. The school was set up to provide holistic education and provide quality education as well as establish innovative processes to the education system in rural communities.
As an entrepreneur, she is also the co -founder of an entertainment company that engages in talent management which seeks to develop young talents.
With the Kesewaa Royal Foundation, a non-profit, focused on developing young minds with the aim of reducing illiteracy in rural communities. She has been able to fund scholars and free education for some students in the school.
She further obtained her MSc from one of the best management schools In the Netherlands Erasmus University where she toom courses such as Policy Innovation and Management, Strategic Management and International Public Management.
She has a track record of working with reputable companies such as Newmont Gold Ghana Limited, Ingenico Worldline and Mollie E-payments.
